"Community and connection are at the heart of this year's challenge. Get outside, explore new places and make your miles matter."

A collective challenge for all of Bath

The Big BaNES 100k is a community initiative between local charities and organisations that champion the benefits of walking, getting outside and exploring new places — including Bath 5k Map, Mentoring Plus, Off the Record, Walk Bath.

Whether you prefer long weekend walks, short daily strolls, morning runs or evening bike rides, this challenge is designed to be flexible. Individuals, families and teams of colleagues can all take part and cover the 100km any way they like.

Every penny raised helps protect lifeline services for children and young people across Bath and North East Somerset who are facing tough challenges.

Join us along the way

We're hosting free, friendly 5k group sunset walks in and around Bath that feature as part of the Bath 5k Map collection — we'd love for you to join us. We'll be counting up the number of people who walk with us and aiming to collectively log a minimum of 100km through these shared experiences. So whether you come to one or all three – every step counts!

These walks are open to all: come along for the company, add the distance to your own 100k challenge, or simply enjoy an evening outdoors for a great cause.
